The artist will perform a crystal ball act so i needed to keep the arms free and make the weight of the structure light enough so she can perform for long periods of time.

This is the sketch i made during the consultations with the client.
This is the basic structure of the Shell costume.
The base of this costume is made with Eva foam, later on i added Flex Alex to give more texture while keeping flexibility.
I adjusted my design to the client request. This costume needed to be familly friendly so i made accessories accordingly.
